The Revival Wrestle!
I had a vision Weds night (June 9/21) during prayer meeting at our church, I was singing my song “Glory Enter Here.” As I was singing the final two chorus's (Open Wide, Heaven’s Gates, Let Your Glory Enter Here), I heard the word "Portal" in my spirit and “Jacob’s Ladder”. Then I saw Jacob wrestling with the Lord, and above the wrestle I saw gates open up, and a staircase into Heaven with angels ascending and descending.
I believe the Lord wants us to enter into the wrestle for revival! As we set our face and hearts toward God, His glory is going to come and we will have an open Heaven with Him. Earlier that afternoon as I was praying and seeking the Lord, I heard the Spirit speak to me, He said, “Fasting is required for the things you want to see!” I could feel the weightiness of the call to revival with the realization that it will cost me something. I am calling the “Call” the “Burden of Delight!”
Take a look at this account in Genesis 28 when Jacobs eyes were opened to really see!
Gen 28:10-16
10 Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. 11 So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. 12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep[c] you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” 16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” 17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”
I declare, surely the Lord is in this place! Surely the Lord is in Canada!!!! Will we know it and recognize what He desires to do through us the church?! “How awesome is this place,” Jacob said! And I declare, how awesome is THIS PLACE! I have said before, God chooses peoples, places, times and seasons to accomplish His Kingdom in the earth! The Lord said to Jacob, “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and Isaac, and I will give you this land!” The Lord will give to the church the land, He will give this nation into our hands if we will cry out for it! If we will yield to the yearning of the Spirit! He will give us our families and the generations!
On Jacob’s way back to his Father’s house, let’s pick up in Genesis 32.
Gen 32:24-32
24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. 25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. 26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!” 27 So He said to him, “What is your name?” He said, “Jacob.” 28 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.” 29 Then Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.” And He said, “Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him there. 30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” 31 Just as he crossed over Penuel the sun rose on him, and he limped on his hip. 32 Therefore to this day the children of Israel do not eat the muscle that shrank, which is on the hip socket, because He touched the socket of Jacob’s hip in the muscle that shrank.
Jacob wrestled with God! Jacob said, “I will not let You go until You bless me!” In the vision on Weds night I saw Jacob wrestling with the Lord under the portal of the open heaven! There is a wrestle that we must enter into, until the Spirit can see THIS ONE has set his heart, he’s not giving up until I give My Blessing!!!! We may carry the scars of the battle just as Jacob did, Jacob limped the rest of his life, but he also walked in the BLESSING!! He wrestled and prevailed! Will you be one that will wrestle this out, grab a hold of God and say I am not letting go until I see the portal of Heaven open and revival fire burn in my family, my community and my nation!!
That night the Spirit said, "I don't respond to needs, but I respond to faith!" He responds to faith! The need that looms so mightily in your eyes, must not be your focus, must not be your gaze! But Faith! Faith in the One Who moves the mountains! Jacob didn’t give up, the scripture literally says, “When He, (referring to the Lord) saw that He did not prevail against him!” Jacob prevailed!! And we must prevail in faith!
I found this beautiful quote from #saramaynard today, “A faith-filled prayer is a prayer that wrestles the resources of heaven into our time and space!”
As we seek the Lord and wrestle this out, may the Holy Ghost fill our mouths with supernatural decrees and prophetic words, dripping with His Anointing!! I believe we are on the very crux of the greatest revival of our generation, and we must continue to press in. He is moved by our faith to believe, and pray, and turn our hearts and face toward His!
When everyone had left the sanctuary on Weds night, I was still so undone by the Lord’s presence, I was sitting there and I saw a supernatural geyser explode in the middle of the room, I saw Golden Oil flowing from the geyser! It was magnificent to encounter and royal to behold. It was huge!!!! I believe this geyser explosion of the Holy Spirit is for every church in the body of Christ that will set their face to prevail with the Lord! I see in my spirit geysers bursting forth all across the nation of Canada!!! I believe it will be the result and harvest of prayers and fasting sown by God’s people! It will be the fruit of men and women of God opening their mouths wide, so God can fill it with confident decrees and prophetic utterances! (Psalms 81:10 “Open your mouth wide and I will fill it!”)
