Increased Grace and Presence

There is something so wildly amazing about this New Year 2018!!! I’ve heard different words from many reputable ministries that I follow. The two that have stuck out to me the most… this is the year of New Beginnings, this is the year of the Open Door… I have received both of these words into my spirit with open arms and would encourage you to do the same!

I too feel to declare and decree a word into the atmosphere! Since the New Year, I have said to those closest to me, this New Year has brought…

Sowing Unto Righteousness

The Lord gave me these words one day, "Sow for yourself Righteousness."

We sow our lives into many things in this day and age. Our time and attention is poured into many different areas of opportunity whether good or bad, healthy or unhealthy. On the upside we sow ourselves to our jobs and reap a harvest of provision. We sow time into our families and we surely reap what we have sown there, whether it be good or bad. Some have sown into the church, and I don't just mean giving of tithe, but some have sown…

Are you ready for service in 2017?

Matthew 21:18-20 Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered. When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked.

Are you ready for service to the Master in 2017?

This is the first message I preached in this New Year, and I want to share it here on my blog…

The Fruit of our Lips

It has been a while since I've have done any blogging. Not by reason of having sufficient to say, on the contrary my heart is overflowing to write. I have simply lacked opportunity to do so. I am rather intrigued this morning through experiencing recent circumstances, the paradox of the tongue, and the sticky web of destruction ensued.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire

I Was A Stranger And You Took Me In

Last weekend Brad and I had the privilege of attending Faith Christian Fellowship's family conference in Ajax Ontario. There we were blessed by the ministry of Jeremy and Sarah Pearsons and also attended our ordination service. It feels rather strange to see Rev. Stephanie Israelson on my certificate of ordination, but I know that God has prepared me for such a time as this. Last week was such a beautiful journey for me in God, He revealed to me His intricate weavings in my life, threads of colours…Read more

An Open Heaven & Powerful Prayer

I am praising God tonight for all He has done in our lives this fall, and we are only at the midway point in October! Whenever we minister in different places I am always seeking God for an open Heaven. You may ask what do I mean by an open Heaven. The Lord started talking to us about an open Heaven for the first time in Jan 2014 when we went to Kansas City to record our album The Prayer. There we sensed the open Heaven of 24/7 worship and prayer. Picture it like this in your minds eye, envision Jacobs…Read more

Household Salvation Prayer

I'm inspired this morning to encourage you concerning your unsaved loved ones! I want you to ask yourself this question! Do I have unsaved loved ones? Do I have family that are not serving the Lord and if they were to pass into eternity today or should the Lord Jesus return this day to gather His bride to Himself would I have loved ones that would spend eternity in Hell or be left behind? If your answer is yes then please keep reading!

This message is of utmost importance! If you have answered yes to these…Read more

House With No Foundation - Luke 6

Dream: “House With No Foundation”

Luke 6:46-49 Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not practice what I tell you? Everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words and obeys them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a [far-sighted, practical, and sensible] man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and yet could not shake it, because it had been securely built and founded on the rock. But the one who has…

The Race

We are all racing toward the finish line of life. Some race with blind folds. They think they can see, but in reality they are way off course. They need someone to guide them back to the race track and release them from their blindfold. Others however have no blindfold, yet they are distracted along the way. Drawn off course, seeing clearly but unable to stay committed to the race because of all the distractions. Then there are those that have their eye on the prize, eyes wide open, undistracted…

Season of New Beginnings!

Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The beasts of the field honor Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen, The people I formed for Myself, that they may set forth My praise [and…Read more

The coming glory and deceiving spirits - Stanley Frodshams 1965

The Coming Glory and Deceiving Spirits Ben / May 23, 2014     Prophecy given at Elim Summer Bible Camp – New York in the Summer 1965 By Stanley Frodshams (who had travelled with Smith Wigglesworth)

When I visit My people in mighty revival power it is to prepare them for the darkness that lies ahead. With the glory shall come great darkness. For the glory is to prepare My people for that darkness. I will enable My people to go through because of a mighty visitation of My Spirit. Take heed to…

Be Being Filled

And the disciples were continually filled [throughout their souls] with joy and the Holy Spirit. Acts 13:52 What amazing joy to be continually being filled with the Holy Spirit. Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, 'Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.' John 7:38 Some versions of scripture say from his belly shall flow, others say from within him shall flow. Regardless the interpretation it is from your inner most being that you are infused with the power and…Read more

Are you a spring or a desert?

... you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. Is 58:11 I want to encourage you today, if you feel like a desert spiritually, don't give up! Thats just exactly what the other side would like for you to do! Give up! No, we have this blessed promise for all who believe! ...from his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38 Holy God is desiring an intimate relationship with you! That is an astonishing thought that the creator of the universe desires…Read more

What is Your Assignment?

Did you know that life is full of seasons and assignments from the Lord? Even in the busyness of this Christmas season, I keep hear the whisperings of the Lord in my ears "What is your assignment?". Our Autumn took an unwanted turn for my family as my beloved father in law passed away while they were vacationing in our home in November. At the same time management changes occurred at the Worship and Prayer Barn where I had been ministering for the last nine months. The day before we left for our trip to…Read more

Entertaining the Presence of God

What keeps us from entertaining the presence of God? I want to ask this question. What is so important in our daily lives that we can't seem to squeeze even a half hour of God time out of our busy schedules. Just to sit at His feet and cry Holy is the Lord God Almighty, listening, waiting, soaking in His presence, reading scripture, praying… whatever the moment calls for, but ultimately entertaining His presence for just a few moments. Last night the Lord taught me such a lesson. I had been at The Worship…Read more

Loving on Holy God

Our approach to worship at The Worship and Prayer Barn is a little different in concept from how I traditionally have considered church worship. As a worship leader and someone that has traveled in music ministry, I have led worship on what seems like countless church stages. The thrust of church worship leading in my mind has always been on how can I get the worshippers that are attending the worship service or concert to effectively engage in worship and encourage abandonment in their worship. Worship…Read more

Reflections on 2013 - Bring on 2014!

As I look back on 2013, I just have to give glory and praise to God for all He has done and I want to share it with you! At the very beginning of the year the Lord spoke to my heart to not live 2013 like I had other years, He was challenging me to go deeper spiritually. So right then and there I took on His challenge and determined in my heart that I would not settle into a mundane year of spirituality in my christian walk. As a busy mother of 5 children I determined that every spare moment to spend with…Read more

Ist Household Salvation Prayer Gathering Sept 6/13

Our first Household Salvation Prayer Gathering on Sept 6th, 2013 held at Abundant Life Center in Meductic, N.B, Canada, was such a powerful night, as we all recognised that the hand of the Lord was orchestrating the whole evening. Pastor Darrell McLellan represented the Maritimes, my father Pastor Dale Shaw represented Quebec and Ontario, Pastor Cliff Paul of Cross Canada Ministries represented Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the North, and my husband Brad Israelson represented Alberta and British Columbia in…Read more

Being Steadfast Believers

For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, HAVE NOT CEASED TO PRAY and make special request for you, asking that you may be filled with the full deep and clear knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things. Col 1:9

Paul confirms several times throughout this text in Colossians that he was unceasingly in prayer for them. He mentions how Epaphras in Col 4:12 was also "STRIVING for you…Read more

Camp Shiktehawk

It was my priviledge to lead worship for family camp at Camp Shiktehawk this past weekend! What a wonderful time we had, I marvel at the faithfulness of God in all that He did in our hearts! I love you and pray for you all that... "He may grant out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy Spirit Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality. May Christ through your faith actually dwell settle down, abide, make His permanent…Read more
