Prophetic Dream - “This is how I’m going to make your Supernatural Reflexes!”
I want to encourage you and share about a prophetic dream that I had last night. I believe the message in this dream is prophetic to individuals in this new era that we are currently living in!
In my dream I was driving our childhood vehicle, it was a big twelve passenger maxi van that we used for many ministry tours. I was going at a pretty high speed all by myself down the winding hill in Hartland, NB, my hometown as a child. As I began to approach the end of the road where the stop sign was to turn either left or right, (I will also note that there was a vehicle ahead of me that had already come to a complete stop), my foot couldn’t make its way to the brake! There was a lethargy in my leg and foot to get to the break and when I did get my foot on the brake I couldn’t press it hard enough to get the vehicle to come to a stop! This is a familiar feeling that I’ve had in a few dreams recently, but this time the dream became very memorable! Suddenly as I’m about to crash into the vehicle ahead of me (picture me laying on my left side in bed), my right leg comes flying out of bed (waking me up), and my foot hits the floor! In an instant I hear the Lord say, “This is how I’m going to make your Supernatural Reflexes!”
You can imagine my heart thumping experience in this moment! Waking up from a scene that I’m about to crash in a vehicle, to my leg flying out of my bed to hit the floor with a thud! Pain flooded my right side as I am still recovering from my recent kidney stone surgery! And then the quick, gentle, yet firm voice of the Holy Spirit, “This is how I’m going to make your Supernatural Reflexes!”
I believe the meaning of this has a couple connotations….
Firstly, let’s do a quick study on the word “reflexes” with Google Dictionary.
Reflex (singular) Reflexes (plural):
1. an action that is performed as a response to a stimulus and without conscious thought.
2. a person's ability to respond quickly.
Let’s take the words of the Holy Ghost for face value! As we encounter different situations in this hour as individuals, I believe there is a grace that has and is coming upon us for a quickening in the Spirit to respond by the Spirit! Unconsciously responding to adversity with supernatural reflexes! Oh Hallelujah! So powerful! Gal 5:25 NIV Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit! I believe this is the future for all those who live their lives by the Spirit of God. Rom 8:9 NIV You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit!
Please declare this prayer below out loud over your lives! I declare over my life and the lives of my friends and family today, a quickening in the Holy Ghost and supernatural reflexes to kick in as we daily deal in the experiences of our natural lives and spiritual warfare, in the powerful name of Jesus!
Secondly, let’s look at the connotation of the out of control vehicle racing down a windy hill unable to stop! This message really hits home for me. The vehicle represents an era that has come to an abrupt halt. There is so much to unpack here! But in an attempt to keep my blog short and on point, the vehicle represents passed history, family, ministry, and momentum. God has put His foot down and brought an abrupt halt (which may cause temporary pain) to the way we have “done” life, by suddenly bringing a standstill to our momentum.
At the beginning of the year there were several words the Lord put in my spirit to chew on. One of the words was “Suddenly”! We all have experienced the suddenly in recent current events with the Covid 19 Pandemic. Suddenly everything has come to an abrupt halt, suddenly the way we do family and ministry, life in general has completely changed. God has brought a halt to our momentum and has declared a new era upon us. We will do life His way from here on through.
The Lord spoke to me last week as I was in my kitchen hobbling around trying to be useful still recovering from surgery. I had worship music playing and I was singing along, not really seeking a word. When suddenly He said to me, “There are 2 camps, which one will you be in!” Honestly I had a moment of feeling a little offended that He would have to ask me this question! Then the seriousness of the meaning hit me like a ton of bricks!
The 1st Camp represents a people that are faith-filled and consecrated to a Holy God. 1 Pet 2:9 But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
The 2nd Camp represents a people that have a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. 2 Tim 3:5
Children of God! I pray that you will find yourself in such abandonment to Christ in this hour! “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28. God has brought a halt to our labours, take advantage of this time as individuals and as families to align yourself with the Spirit today, take communion with your families, spend time in prayer and reading the Word, choose your camp and lean into what He has for you! Trust the unction of the Spirit and His supernatural reflexes bestowed upon you in this new era!
