Go through,
Go through the gates!
Prepare the way for the people;
Build up,
Build up the highway!
Take out the stones,
Lift up a banner for the peoples!
Indeed the Lord has proclaimed
To the end of the world:
“Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Surely your salvation is coming;
Behold, His reward is with Him,
And His work before Him.’ ”
And they shall call them The Holy People,
The Redeemed of the Lord;
And you shall be called Sought Out,
A City Not Forsaken.

Today I declare over you that you are chosen and sought out, you are a city not forsaken! Everything that you have been experiencing in your life to this point has been the preparation of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Rom 8:28
God has been building up the highway and foundations of our lives. Think of a construction site and the work that goes into the building of a highway in the natural. Boulders and earth are removed, building materials are brought in. It’s dirty work in the muck and the mire! Like wise, life can be messy, there can be major stumbling blocks along the way.
Yet you are His workmanship! This scripture says, “Behold His reward is with Him, and His work is before Him.” Some versions say, “His work is EVER before Him!” He never grows weary of you and I. He is ever moulding, creating and at work in us!
As we approach the Christmas season and celebrate the birth of our Saviour, I pray that His Spirit breathe fresh life upon you. Just as a new day was proclaimed upon the earth by the angel messengers, we proclaim over you that you are the Redeemed, Sought Out! A City Not Forsaken! There is new life being birthed in your lungs and you will rise to the occasion.
