Take Your Seat

“Far above all principality and might and dominion and every name that is named!” Eph 1:21

You and I are seated in heavenly realms with Christ. I want to ask you today, are you occupying the seat that God has given you? Our calling and election is sure in Christ Jesus. Imagine if we had elected officials in our government that never took their seat of issuance, or accepted the place of authority for which they were elected? What if they never used their voice, or influenced decisions made?

You and I were predestined for this very purpose, to occupy victoriously. “And raised us up TOGETHER, and made us SIT TOGETHER in the HEAVENLY PLACES with Christ Jesus.” Eph 2:6 Christ, through His suffering, death on the cross and resurrection life, won your seat for you! You and I have been allocated special seating and granted access in the heavenly sphere from which we participate in supernatural dealings.

Unfortunately many of us are not operating our lives from this position of issuance and assignment. I am challenged by Holy Spirit in these days to occupy within my inheritance, to take my seat. Daughters of Zion, don’t vacate in the hour of pressing! Don’t allow your life to be so taken up with the circumstances of the natural that we negate entering in on a daily basis and occupy.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Eph 1:3

There it is! Every spiritual blessing awaits us in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus! You might say how do you do it? How do you ascend the heights of glory into this other realm? A place that is allocated to me? It belongs to me? Yes! It all in the most practical sense begins the moment you turn your eyes upon Him.

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.” - Helen Howarth Lemmel

Take your seat, dwell with Him in heavenly places. Direct the “choir” of your home, your city from the location of authority and dominion in Christ!
