I’ve been hearing the Lord say SEED TIME & HARVEST!
We are truly in a time where we must look at our lives, our ministries, or what have you and survey the dry, fallow ground that God desires to plow up in our lives, sow seed and reap a harvest! Take a moment and think about any areas in your life that need sowing!
Do you have areas that are dry and parched and nothing is growing?
Hosea 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.
It is time to break up the fallow ground and sow seed!
THE LAW OF SEEDTIME AND HARVEST:
Seedtime and harvest is an operation of giving and taking, it’s reciprocity! You can’t have one without the other. If you want a harvest you have to sow seed that is pertinent to the harvest!
2 Corinthians 9:10 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
You may think I don’t have any seed to sow! Well, I have good news for you! He will give you seed! You have a kingdom supplier who will provide seed for you. He will impress on your heart what to pray, He will impress kindness and love, He will impress conversations, and circumstance to sow seed, He will impress thoughts in your spirit that will turn into seeds as you act in faith! He will give you your seeds! It’s up to you to plant them! He will send the sun and the rain to make the seeds grow!
Hosea 6:11 ... a harvest is appointed ...
Just as there is an appointed time to sow seed, there is also an appointed time for the harvest! Be assured people of God, if you sow, harvest time will come Hallelujah!!!
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
John 4:35-36 Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.”
Luke 10:2 And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.”
ASK THE LORD TO SEND YOU!!!
I shared this message with my Mommies Group and the Lord gave me a picture of every one taking a few moments to hear from the Lord and write down those seeds that the Lord would impress on their hearts! It was amazing what came forth, and the thread of the Spirit!
I also feel to encourage you, take a few moments, ask the Lord what are the seeds he’s giving you to sow? Are they prayers for your children? Are they conversations with strangers in the market place? Is it inviting your friends into your home and sharing communion and building community in the spirit? Is it heading up a new program of outreach in your church, starting a prayer group, a new Bible study, is it being bold to lay hands on the sick and believe for healing? The seeds of the Lord flowing from His fountain are endless!!! Take a few moments and listen to His impressions today and make your list and pray, and then act when He gives you the go! I pray that you will become filled with prophetic impressions and seeds to sow! God Bless!
