Household Salvation Prayer

I'm inspired this morning to encourage you concerning your unsaved loved ones! I want you to ask yourself this question! Do I have unsaved loved ones? Do I have family that are not serving the Lord and if they were to pass into eternity today or should the Lord Jesus return this day to gather His bride to Himself would I have loved ones that would spend eternity in Hell or be left behind? If your answer is yes then please keep reading!

This message is of utmost importance! If you have answered yes to these questions then I implore you to begin to pray for the unsaved that are within your sphere of influence! A few years ago the Lord put a heavy burden on my heart for our unsaved loved ones. We held Household Salvation Prayer gatherings in Carleton County and even my little prayer group at the time that met weekly began to intercede for our loved ones and we were awakened to the importance of intercession for them.

In a nutshell, this is what intercession for the unsaved means: Strive to save others, snatching them out of the fire! Jude 1:23 The result of such prayer has been astounding in our family and God has done incredible things! I have seen it with my own eyes!

Pray also for one another, that you may be healed and restored to a spiritual tone of mind and heart. The earnest heartfelt continued prayer of the righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working. James 5:16

The Lord will hear the prayers of the righteous and respond according to this scripture above! Here are some keys below that I use in prayer for my unsaved loved ones.

#1. Make a list of names! Haha... this is the easy part! Don't leave anyone out!

#2. Pray Out Loud! This key is true in all manner of prayer and must also be used when praying for the unsaved. It is of utmost importance that you speak your prayers out of your mouth out loud and call them out by their names! Don't just say prayer within your spirit or inside your head. The words must be spoken out of your mouth! If saying prayers within your self were sufficient then God wouldn't have "Said" "Let there be light" and it was so. In the same manner we must declare with the words coming out of our mouths. Our words go forth and are carried to the throne room, our words are released and the enemy has to obey, our words are released and they go to work and take action in the spirit.

#3. Pray The Word Of God (out loud) over them. Ask God to give you a specific scripture that is pertinent to your family members lives. Find out what the Word of the Lord is over them and pray these things specifically.

#4. Declare Their Sins Are Forgiven You might say sister that is sacrilegious! Then you tell me why Jesus said it! Peace to you! As the Father has sent me, I also send you. And when He had said this, he breathed on them and said to them "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them, if you retain the sins of any, they are retained. John 20:21-23 The word settles it in my mind! I pray that the sins of my loved ones are forgiven every time I get my little list out and pray for them.

#5. Pray Luke 21:36 Declare that as for you and your loved ones you will be counted worthy to escape all the things are coming on the earth and to stand unblemished in the presence of Yeshua! Watch ye therefore and pray always, that ye may be counted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36

Lastly the Holy Spirit is your Helper! He will intercede through you! Just be that yielded vessel that He can flow through!

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groaning. Romans 8:26
